Bachelor of Behavioral Health Mission:
The goal of the Bachelor of Behavioral Health program is to provide students the opportunity to expand knowledge and skills necessary to provide behavioral support services within their own communities. This knowledge is acquired within a liberal arts experience which emphasizes honesty, integrity, civility, and a strong sense of personal responsibility. Students will use evidence-based practices to diagnose, treat, and support clients and families in crisis. Students will also develop the necessary skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Program graduates will be prepared to assist and support community clients and their families in a professional and caring manner as part of an interdisciplinary team.
This program does not lead to certification or licensure.
